Output
Inventory control computer tracks the stock levels for each part in the carousel.
Computer directs the mini load or unit load to replenish any SKU that falls below a predetermined number.
The mini load or unit load automatically retrieves the appropriate tote or pallet and delivers it to one of two output stations.
Parts stored in totes are automatically loaded onto the AGV for delivery to the carousels.
Workers pick items stored on pallets and load them into a tote for pick up by the AGV; the picked-from pallet is returned to the unit load.
The AGV transports the parts to the replenishment staging area, where the totes are automatically offloaded for restocking the carousels.
