Perform regular preventive maintenance as recommended by the hardware supplier(s) including ongoing training of internal staff as needed.
Define roles and responsibilities for internal and supplier service staff.
Periodically system performance to identify possible maintenance issues and needs for repair or upgrades.
Document operational performance to ensure system is meeting objectives.
Bring the system supplier(s) in to conduct a periodic audit on processes and performance, recommend continuous improvements.
Determine succession plan for process ownership if internal project champion is reassigned or leaves.
